Dr. Lambert co-authored the article “Safety of Topical Dermatologic Medications in Pregnancy”
MONTCLAIR, NJ, May 2, 2018, W. Clark Lambert, MD, Ph.D., has been included in Marquis Who’s Who. As in all Marquis Who’s Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a profession are all taken into account during the selection process.
Backed by 40 years of professional excellence in pathology, Dr. Lambert has served as a professor of pathology at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, since 1978. Over the years, he has also worked as a research associate at the Laboratory of Molecular Genetics at the National Institutes of Health and as a deputy editor for SKINmed Dermatology for the Clinician. Prior to starting in the profession, he earned a Bachelor of Arts from Wesleyan University and a Doctor of Philosophy and Doctor of Medicine in experimental pathology from Thomas Jefferson University. Subsequently, he pursued residencies in pathology at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center and Yale New Haven Hospital. Since then, his interests have spanned clinical dermatology, dermatopathology, cutaneous lymphomas, and genodermatoses associated with DNA repair deficiencies.
In order to remain abreast of changes in the profession, Dr. Lambert maintains affiliation with the American Academy of Dermatology and the American and International Societies of Dermatopathology, as well as the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology. Additionally, he serves as the chairman of the scientific advisory committee of the Xeroderma Pigmentosum Society. With five board certifications backing his knowledge in the profession, he has contributed to more than 300 publications, including “Langerhans Cell: Exciting Developments in Health and Disease” and “Safety of Topical Dermatologic Medications in Pregnancy.” Looking ahead, Dr. Lambert intends to continue on the same path, as he loves what he is doing right now.
